You wanted to calculate your birth chart, and the tool asked for a precise time. You do not have it. Nobody in the family remembers, or the memories contradict each other.

Good news: you can still work with it. Bad news: not on everything. Here is exactly what you keep and what you lose.

What can still be calculated without the time

The positions of the planets in the signs are calculated from the date alone, or nearly.

The Sun. No problem, unless you were born on the day the Sun changed signs. In that case, there are two possibilities, and you will have to decide another way.

Mercury, Venus, Mars. These planets move slowly enough for their sign to be reliable in almost every case.

Jupiter, Saturn and the slow planets. No ambiguity possible, they stay in a sign for months or years.

The aspects between planets. They remain broadly readable, with some margin for those involving the Moon.

What becomes impossible

The rising sign. It changes every two hours. Without the time, no serious estimate is possible.
