How to Write Your Question to a Psychic by Email
Faced with the blank page, many clients hesitate. Should you tell everything? Be brief? Ask one question or ten? In fifteen years of written readings, I have read thousands of messages. Some were two lines long, others three pages. And I can tell you one thing: the quality of the answer depends enormously on how the question is asked. Here is how to write your message to receive a clear and truly useful reading.
Why the writing matters so much
In writing, the psychic only has your message. Not your voice, not your face, not your hesitations. It is both a constraint and an opportunity: without these cues, they stay focused on what you write, your cards and their own perception. But you need to give them enough material to work with.
The four part structure
1. The context
Start by setting out the situation. Who is involved? Since when? What happened recently?
"I have been with Julian for three years. We have been living together for a year. For the past few months, we have argued often, especially about money."
No need to go back to childhood. The important elements are enough.
2. Your feelings
Say what you are going through inside. It is often what clients forget, and yet it is essential.
"I feel tired, a little discouraged. I am afraid the relationship is wearing out. But I still love him."

3. Your questions
Two or three precise questions are better than a long list. Prefer open questions, centered on you and on a reasonable period.
"What is really at stake in these arguments? What attitude can help me calm the situation? What are the prospects for our relationship in the coming months?"

4. What you expect
Advice? Insight into a period? Help deciding? Saying so lets the psychic shape their answer.
"Above all, I would like to understand what I can do on my side."
The most common mistakes
The message that is too short
"Will he come back?" with no context. The psychic can work with the cards, but the reading will necessarily be more general.
The never ending message
Three pages of details, with no clear question. The psychic risks missing what really matters to you.

Too many questions
Ten questions in a single message, on different subjects. Each question deserves a real answer; better to focus on the essentials.
Closed questions
"Yes or no?" leaves no room for nuance. Rephrase with "how" or "what".
Hiding an important element
Out of modesty or fear of being judged. A serious psychic does not judge, and a hidden element can skew the whole reading.
The questions to avoid
- Precise dates ("When will he call me?").
- Absolute certainties ("Will it definitely work?").
- Questions about health, legal matters or financial investments, which belong to professionals.
Writing to Madame Oriane
Madame Oriane, the psychic on this site, works only in writing. She invites her clients to describe, briefly or in detail, their life, their questions, their joys and their fears. This text is decisive for her reading, just like the cards you draw online and the details you provide, such as your first name and date of birth. You then receive her analysis, usually within 24 hours on weekdays.
Testing your question before writing
Before sending your message, you can test your question with a free spread. If the answer seems vague, it is often because the question is too. A free love tarot reading, with the method for reading your answer, is a good exercise. To know what these readings are worth, read our analysis of what a free online tarot reading really offers.
And then?
Once your message is sent, let the psychic work. To know what to expect, our article on how a psychic reading unfolds, step by step details each moment, and our guide on how an online psychic reading works compares the different formats.
In summary
To write your question to a psychic by email, follow four parts: the context, your feelings, two or three precise questions and what you expect. Avoid messages that are too short or too long, lists of questions and requests for dates. A clear and sincere message is the best guarantee of a useful reading.
