Tarot card reading

My readings always begin with a tarot spread.

The order in which you turn them over matters: I read each card in the place you give it.

Preparing Your Questions Before a Remote Psychic Session

Twenty minutes of preparation transform a reading. It is the observation almost all feedback agrees on: the people who come out satisfied are the ones who prepared.

Here is how, concretely.

Three questions, no more

This is the basic rule. A reading that tries to cover seven subjects handles none of them properly.

Three questions, one sentence each, written before the session. They will easily fill forty minutes of useful exchange.

If you have five in mind, rank them and keep the first three. The other two will be for another time, or will disappear on their own once the first ones have been handled.

The first step is just a few cards drawn at your fingertips.

The phrasing rule

Start with "what" or "how", never with "will" or "is".

Compare.

"Will he call me back" leads nowhere: the answer does not depend on you, and you will not be able to do anything with it.

"What is at stake in this situation, and what do I do with it" opens thirty minutes of work.

The difference is not one of style. It determines whether you come out with an expectation or with room to act.

The question test

Before keeping a phrasing, ask yourself two questions.

Does the answer depend on someone else? If so, rephrase it to bring it back to you.

Will I know what to do with the answer? If you cannot see a possible action behind it, the question is probably badly phrased.

These two filters eliminate most unproductive phrasings. It is exactly the same requirement as in a symbolic reading turned toward self observation, where the quality of the question makes the quality of the answer. To deepen this ability to ask the right questions, developing your intuition with tarot offers concrete exercises that sharpen your inner eye.

The questions that will not be handled

Better to know beforehand, it avoids disappointment.

Questions about health, illness, death. Legal proceedings. Investments and financial decisions. These areas belong to qualified professionals, and a serious practitioner will refer you to them.

Questions about another person's intentions or feelings. No reading gives access to the inside of someone else.

Requests for a date, an amount, a guarantee. What a serious practitioner never promises details these five cases, and it is better to know them before preparing your list.

Adapting to the format

Preparation does not carry the same weight depending on the channel.

In a delayed written reading, it is absolutely critical. You will have no chance to bounce back: if the question is badly phrased, the answer will miss the mark and you will have paid for it. Allow thirty minutes of preparation rather than twenty.

In live chat, prepare the exact phrasings. Since the price is often tied to connection time, you do not want to be thinking online.

On the phone, the preparation mainly serves as a guiding thread. Keep the sheet in front of you, it will keep you from scattering.

How to choose between chat, writing and phone helps settle this point even before booking.

What else to prepare

The context, in five lines. Some practitioners ask for it, others prefer to know nothing. Have it ready, you will give it or not.

Something to take notes with. A notebook, an open document. You will be surprised at what you have forgotten the next day, and how to take notes or record the session explains why memory rearranges things so quickly.

The framework checked. Price, duration, payment method. This information must be known before you start.

Choosing your moment

A time slot when nobody disturbs you, when you are neither exhausted nor shaken.

Not right after an argument, not at two in the morning. In those states, you will only hear a fragment, the one that looks like hope, and you will cling to it for weeks.

The most common preparation mistake

Arriving with an answer already decided and looking for its confirmation.

It is easy to spot: if your three questions all call for the same type of answer, you are not coming for insight, you are coming for agreement.

The remedy is simple. For each question, write next to it the answer you are hoping for. Then ask yourself what you will do if it does not come. This exercise, done before the session, greatly changes how open you are during the exchange.

An example of complete preparation

Situation: professional hesitation for several months.

Question 1: what is really wearing me down in my current situation?
Question 2: what am I projecting onto the change I am considering?
Question 3: what is keeping me from talking about it with the people around me?

Three open questions, all centered on you, all actionable. That is a session that will produce something.

Preparing your questions is all the more useful when you are hesitating between a free spread and a reading. See what really distinguishes free psychic readings from paid ones.

Afterwards: the preparation is still useful

Keep your sheet. Next to each question, write down what you took away, within twenty four hours.

Reread it a month later. You will often find that what struck you at the time was not the most important thing.

For the full course of the session and what happens afterwards, how a remote reading unfolds gives the general framework in which this preparation pays off fully.
